Portland Vancouver Junction Railroad is the operating freight railroad over the Clark County owned Chelatchie Prairie Railroad. The PVJR employees and owner are dedicated to providing superior customer service to our customers as well as the citizens of Clark County, who have leased us their line.

The PVJR has excellent access to both the Port of Vancouver, as well as the Portland Metropolitan area. Our interchange with BNSF is located approximately 2 miles from the Port of Vancouver and 5 miles from the Port of Portland. We have a diverse customer base over this 14 mile shortline, and handle a number of commodities. Both dry bulk as well as liquid transload companies have located on our line, which has superior access to both I-5 as well as I-205.
